Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 8,870 MT
KANSAS CITY - Apr 19/04 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 105,380 MT, compared to 93,510 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 2,940 MT at 36,230 MT versus 33,290 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 7,090 MT from last year's 47,170 MT.
