Beans Continue to StrengthenVANCOUVER - Apr 16/04 - STAT -- Dry edible bean markets continued to strengthen, with the spot market index for U.S. origin product inching up four points on the week to close 731. So far this marketing year, the index has average 679 points, a solid improvement on the 638 point average recorded across the 2002-03 marketing year, but significantly lower than the 871 point average recorded in 2001-02.
