Beans Respond to Falling Acreage
VANCOUVER - Apr 9/04 - STAT -- North American dry edible bean markets continued to strengthen during the past week on account of tight current crop supplies and an expected decline in this year's harvest.
Seeded area is down in both Canada and the United States, partly because of competition for land from soybeans and coarse grains.
