USDA Leaves World Cotton Picture UnchangedWASHINGTON - Apr 8/04 - SNS -- No changes were made to the USDA's world cotton supply and demand estimates in the latest World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report. The 2003-04 world estimates reflect only minor revisions which are largely offsetting. An increase of 150,000 bales in Pakistan's production is more than offset by reductions in several other countries. World consumption is unchanged as increases for India and Brazil are offset by decreases for Thailand and others. World trade and ending stocks are reduced marginally.
