Supply Concerns Support Edible BeansVANCOUVER - Apr 2/04 - STAT -- International dry edible bean markets continued to strengthen during the past week against expectations of smaller harvests in the United States and Argentina. The USDA says growers intend to cut edible seedings from 1.4 million acres last year to 1.33 million acres. This is the smallest seeded area in the memory of most industry participants and is 22% below the recent five-year average seeded area.
