Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 11,310 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 23/04 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 98,070 MT, compared to 75,210 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 4,530 MT at 31,850 MT versus 27,320 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 1,410 MT from last year's 39,360 MT.
