USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 1,420 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 23/04 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 73,540 MT, compared to 36,100 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 30,210 MT from last year's 25,960 MT level.
