Dairy Product, Eggs Stocks Advance
WASHINGTON - Mar 19/04 - SNS -- Stocks of dairy products and eggs in cold storage in the United States were little changed from last month, but generally above year earlier levels, according to the latest USDA report on agricultural commodities held in cold storage.
Total dairy products in cold storage on February 29 were 1% above last month and slightly below February 2003 at 767 million pounds.
Total stocks of frozen eggs were off 1% from last month, but 23% above last year's inventory levels at 21 million pounds.
