Frozen Vegetable Stocks DropWASHINGTON - Mar 19/04 - SNS -- Stocks of frozen vegetables in cold storage in the United States dropped below month earlier and year earlier levels during February, while frozen potato supplies increased, according to the latest USDA report on agricultural commodities held in cold storage. Total frozen vegetable supplies on February 29, 2004 were 9% below last month and 1% below February 2003 at 1,764 million pounds. Total stocks of frozen potatoes were 4% greater than last month, but slightly below last year's inventory levels at 1,209 million pounds.
