Australia's Dried Fruit Industry Merging?SYDNEY - Mar 17/04 - SNS -- Australia's dried fruit industry hopes to consolidate under a single company if government officials do not block two proposed mergers in the industry. Mildura Co-operative Fruit Company from the state of Victoria plans to buy Sunbeam Foods, considered the country's largest dried fruit packer, which in turns has recently bid for South Australian-based Angas Park.
