Cargill Completes Agway Feed Purchase
MINNEAPOLIS - Mar 15/04 - SNS -- Cargill Animal Nutrition completed its purchase of Agway Feed and Nutrition from Agway, Inc.
John Griffin, currently a manager with Cargill Animal Nutrition, will be the general manager of the Agway Feed and Nutrition.
Cargill acquired the Agway feed mills in Batavia, Binghamton, Canton, Jamestown and Salem, N.Y., and Letterkenny, Somerset and Winfield, Pa. The Agway Feed and Nutrition business office will remain in Shippensburg, Pa. The district primarily serves Agway retailers and the dairy industry, as well as feed manufactures for poultry and other species.
