Tentative Agreement in CN Rail StrikeMONTREAL - Mar 15/04 - SNS -- CN Rail and the Canadian Auto Workers (CAW) union have reached a tentative three-year agreement. If the agreement is ratified by CAW members, the strike by shopcraft, intermodal and clerical workers will end. Workers took to the picket lines on February 20, making this the longest railway strike in many years. CN has also reached a tentative agreement covering owner/operator truck drivers represented by the CAW. These drivers are not on strike.
