U.S. Birdseeds, Nuts Face Escalating EU Tariffs
BRUSSELS - Mar 11/04 - SNS -- Birdseed seed ingredients, some types of edible nuts and honey are on the list of products affected by escalating, retaliatory tariffs being imposed by the European Union on U.S. origin goods.
Products affected by the tariffs include buckwheat, millet, canaryseed, coconut, brazil nuts, cashews, mixed dry fruits and nuts, natural honey, various dried fruits and fruit peels, some products made from flaxseed, rapeseed, safflower, hop cones, licorice root, ginseng, poppy straw, seaweed, some alfalfa and other feed ingredients.
