Nominal Mexican Bean Imports ForecastMEXICO CITY - Mar 10/04 - STAT -- Mexican dry edible bean production is expected to remain at above average levels during the 2004-05 marketing year, with the result imports are not expected to grow beyond the normal need for premium quality beans for some of the country's markets. More importantly, the U.S. agricultural attache here does not believe the full quantity of beans which are permitted to enter the country on a duty free basis from the United States and Canada will do so.
