U.S. and Canadian Peas Wildly Divergent
VANCOUVER - Mar 5/04 - STAT -- North American field pea markets ended the week under mixed conditions.
Prices for U.S. origin product jumped to substantial premiums to Canada on the basis of USDA purchases of 4,890 metric tons (MT) of whole peas and 5,280 MT of splits for April shipment.
