Lentils Maintain Recent Firmness
VANCOUVER - Mar 5/04 - STAT -- North American lentil maintained their recent firm note in the face of strong lentil demand from the United States government.
During the week, the USDA bought 4,200 metric tons (MT) of lentils for shipment as food aid during April; while exporters in Canada report steady demand for product from Latin America and some Mediterranean destinations.
