Agricore United Buys Vertech Feeds
WINNIPEG - Mar 5/04 - SNS -- Agricore United's wholly own subsidiary Unifeed Limited bought the Red Deer, Alberta based Vertech Feeds Ltd. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Vertech Feeds Ltd. was established in 1996 and manufactures livestock feed, predominantly for dairy cattle as well as for beef cattle, poultry and hog. The company's previous owner, Bernie Verwimp, will continue to manage the Vertech operation.
