ABB Grain Buys ProGrain
SYDNEY - Mar 5/04 - SNS -- Australia's barley marketing board, ABB Grain Ltd. is buying Professional Grain Services Pty Ltd., an agricultural commodity containerisation company.
Settlement of the ProGrain purchase took place today, with a purchase price of $4.1 million incorporating a $3.85 million cash payment and the issue of $250,000 worth of ABB B-Class shares to the vendors.
ProGrain handles a full range of cereals, pulses, oilseeds, meals and various other commodities, as well as having facilities to store significant volumes of grain.
