Danone Selling National Foods StakeSYDNEY - Mar3/04 - SNS -- Groupe Danone sold its 10% stake in Australia's National Foods dairy company for an estimated $126 million. In announcing the move, France's Danone noted National Foods is Australia's largest publicly listed dairy company and had sales close to EUR 700 million during 2003. Reports here reveal stockbroker ABN Amro sold Danone's 29.9 million shares for $4.20 per share - the top end of the $4.10 to $4.20 range offered to fund managers.
