AWB Disappointed With Basis PoolSYDNEY - Mar 3/04 - SNS -- The Australian Wheat Board (AWB) expressed disappointment with the results of the first payment of this season's basis pool, saying the poor performance relative to other years reflects a weaker market for white wheat than some other classes. Growers using AWB Basis Pool for the 2003-04 season will receive a first payment of $104.15, following the announcement today of the first tranche result for the 2003-04 contract.
