Vinclozolin Not Banned in United States
VANCOUVER - Feb 27/04 - STAT -- Recent National Dry Bean Council (NDBC) position statements on Vinclozolin and letters to the FDA attempt to convey the impression that it is banned in the United States. This is not factually correct.
Ronilan EG fungicide is currently registered for use in the United States on canola, lettuce, and snap beans for the control of gray mold, rhizoctonia bottom rot, sclerotinia drop, sclerotinia stem rot, and white mold. In Canada, the chemical is approved for use on canola and dry edible beans.
