Agricore United Offers 5700PR Wheat Contracts
WINNIPEG - Feb 23/04 - SNS -- Agricore United is contracts to grow the Proven Seed 5700PR wheat variety across all of western Canada.
The company claims the variety has earned "high approval in the bread market (and) is agronomically superior in terms of yield and straw strength to other top grade seed available on the market, and adaptable to all Canadian Prairie Spring (CPS) growing areas."
Todd Hyra, product manager of forages and wheat. "This is a real opportunity for producers to take advantage of the higher return on IP (identity preserved) crops with a strong agronomic variety."
