Lentils Finish With Firm ToneVANCOUVER - Feb 20/04 - STAT -- North American lentil markets finished the week's trading on a generally firm tone. USDA food aid purchase activity provided good support to markets in the United States. During the week, the USDA bought 2,420 metric tons (MT) of lentils at an average U.S. $27.54 per 100 pounds delivered U.S. Gulf ports and announced a tender for another 5,170 MT for April shipment.
