Little Change in Vegetable StocksWASHINGTON - Feb 20/04 - SNS -- Frozen vegetables on hand in cold storage in the United States at the end of January was virtually unchanged from year earlier levels, according to the latest data available from the USDA. Total frozen vegetable supplies finished the month at 1,939 million pounds, virtually unchanged from the previous year, and down 10% on the month. Potatoes are counted separately and supplies finished January at 1,157 million pounds, up 3% from December's stock level and down 1% from year earlier supplies.
