India Approves Drought AssistanceNEW DELHI - Feb 20/04 - SNS -- India's agriculture department approved drought assistance totalling Rs. 249.68 Crore for Karnataka and Rs. 33.21 Crore for Maharashtra. The high level committee for sanctioning assistance from the National Calamity Contingency Fund (NCCF) met under the Chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Shri L.K. Advani here today.
