Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 13,810 MT
KANSAS CITY - Feb 18/04 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 87,730 MT, compared to 70,800 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 980 MT at 28,300 MT versus 27,320 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 3,110 MT from last year's 38,860 MT.
