French Pea Exports Finish 2003 Slowly
PARIS - Feb 18/04 - STAT -- French field pea exports maintained their modest pace through December, with monthly shipments totalling just 33,760 metric tons (MT) to other European destinations.
Belgium and Netherlands were the most important destinations during the month. In fact, the shipments to Belgium allowed that country to re-emerge as the most important buyer of French field peas. It lost that distinction to India during the 2001-02 marketing year.
