UK Dairy Product Output Slows in Q4LONDON - Feb 11/04 - SNS -- Production of selected milk products in the United Kingdom picked up speed in December, but output during the final quarter of 2003 remained far behind the previous year, according to data assembled by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) Most of the decrease was accounted for by the milk powder category, with total output sinking from 59,900 metric tons (MT) in the October to December period of 2002 to 49,800 MT in 2003.
