Cargill Sweeteners Creates New Product Manager PostMINNEAPOLIS - Feb 11/04 - SNS -- Cargill Sweeteners North America has created the post of new products manager, naming Elaine Tecklenburg to the newly minted position. Tecklenburg is responsible for identifying and developing business opportunities associated with new products. Tecklenburg has worked in food product development for nearly two decades. She spent 12 years with Mars, Incorporated, where she served as sugar confectionary innovations manager, senior product development scientist, senior chocolate research scientist and Uncle Ben's product development manager. More recently, Tecklenburg served as director of flavor encapsulation for Firmenich, a Switzerland-based creator of flavors, fragrances and aroma chemicals. In that capacity she oversaw brand development for the company's Durarome® encapsulation technology, used to deliver flavor in powdered drinks, chewing gum and other foods.
