in the district, however, supplies are insufficient to establish a market.  
Cooler temperatures in the district have halted production of berries for 10-14 
more days.  Currently, no F.O.B. being issued.  FIRST REPORT.
   SOUTH DISTRICT, CALIFORNIA---Shipments 67-82-72---Movement expected to remain
about the same.  Trading very active at slightly lower prices.  Prices slightly 
lower.  Flats 12 1-pint baskets medium-large mostly 16.90, flats 8 1 pound 
containers with lids medium-large 14.90-16.90.  Includes palletizing and cooling.  
Wide range in quality.  Cold weather and crop conditions has resulted in a lighter 
than expected harvest during the period, and is expected to continue throughout 
the upcoming week.  Most present shipments from previous commitments and/or prior 
bookings.
