GIPSA Solves LDP Problem for Farmers Dressed Peas
WASHINGTON - Feb 9/04 - SNS -- The USDA's Grain Inspection, Packers and Stockyards Administration (GIPSA) has come up with a way to deal with the problem of thresher run or farmers dressed field peas under the U.S. Farm Program.
The GIPSA notice FGIS-PN-04-01 establishes a special statement to assist the Farm Service Agency (FSA) in calculating qualifying loan deficiency payments for thresher-run dry peas.
