India's Rabi Season Pulse Target DownVANCOUVER - Feb 9/04 - SNS -- Government production targets for rabi season pulses appear to have declined at least a million metric tons (MT) to 9 million MT. Though the changes will not affect total food grain production estimates for the current winter or rabi season crops, it is welcome news to pulse exporters in Canada, Australia, Myanmar and Turkey because it implies a modest improvement in sales prospects during the last half of 2004.
