Lentil Markets Maintain Recent Firm Tone
VANCOUVER - Feb 6/04 - SNS -- International lentil markets ended the week on a firm note, with demand remaining slightly ahead of supplies available from growers and processors.
Markets were helped by Canadian stocks in all positions data.
The numbers showed disappearance during the opening five months of the current marketing year was larger than anticipated and ending stocks are unlikely increase from last summer's low 55,000 metric tons.
