Avian Flu Limits Lupin DemandSYDNEY - Feb 4/04 - STAT -- The avian flu outbreak in south Asia is having a direct impact on lupin markets because building stocks of soybean meal are competing for those niche feed markets. The net result is the Grain Pool of Western Australia (GPWA) decreased projected returns for its 2003-04 lupin marketing pool by A$5 per metric ton (MT) to between $215 and $225.
