Glencore Buys Ukraine Elevator
KIEV - Feb 3/04 - APK -- According to Interfax-Ukraine, the transnational company Glencore, which is a large trader on Ukrainian grain market, has refused from a legal dispute over Kazanka Grain Elevator (Nikolaev Oblast, South Ukraine) and purchased it from another Ukrainian agrarian market operator - Kernel Group - a source, close to the concluded deal, informed the news agency.
A spokesman for Kernel Group has told the agency that his company is "more than satisfied" with the conditions of the deal.
