2004 Expectations Slipping for Edible Beans
VANCOUVER - Jan 23/04 - STAT -- Field market participants reported improved trading interest in the commodity, but remain disappointed with the overall direction of markets.
This is especially true for human consumption markets. Though buyers on the Indian subcontinent have been showing interest in kabuli chickpeas recently, there has only been limited enquiry for whole and split green and yellow peas from the region.
