Michigan Bean Commission AppointmentsLANSING - Jan 23/04 - SNS -- Governor Jennifer Granholm appointed two new members to the Michigan Bean Commission and reappointed two others. Daniel Engelhard of Tuscola County was appointed to represent District 3 growers. He succeeds David J. Milligan whose term has expired. Engelhard is a farmer for the Fertile Valley Seed Farm in Unionville. Thomas Wadsworth of Sanilac County was appointed to represent District 4 growers. He succeeds Robert S. Caister whose term has expired. Wadsworth is owner of Wadsworth Farms, Inc. in Sandusky. Reappointed to represent bean shippers was Daniel Leach of Gratiot County. He is dry bean manager for Michigan Agriculture Commodities, Inc. in Breckenridge. Also reappointed was Clifford Roggenbuck of Huron County, who represents District 5 growers.
