Frozen Vegetable Inventories UpWASHINGTON - Jan 21/04 - SNS -- Frozen vegetable inventories finished 2003 2,125 million pounds, up 2% from year earlier levels; while supplies of french fries and frozen potatoes slipped 1% to 1,120 million pounds. The latest USDA cold storage inventory data revealed gains in frozen vegetable inventories were mostly accounted for by asparagus, baby lima beans, French style green beans, corn and green peas; while key decliners included regular cut green beans, Fordhook lima beans, broccoli and diced carrots.
