Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 10,170 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jan 20/04 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 67,540 MT, compared to 63,730 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 5,290 MT at 18,040 MT versus 23,330 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 7,870 MT from last year's 36,030 MT.
