USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 4,850 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jan 20/04 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 72,120 MT, compared to 21,820 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases up 33,070 MT from last year's 21,680 MT level.
