Feed Pea Demand Overtakes Food
VANCOUVER - Jan 16/04 - SNS -- The emphasis on Canadian field pea markets has returned to feed as demand from the Indian subcontinent remains slack and feed pea demand from Europe keen.
Attitudes are also being affected by North America's BSE crisis. Long term domestic demand for feed peas has the potential to increase as the USDA places additional restrictions on the feeding of animal parts to ruminant animals.
