U.S. Lentil Harvest BoostedWASHINGTON - Jan 12/04 - SNS -- The USDA boosted its 2003 lentil harvest estimate for the United States 7% in its final crop report for 2003. Production in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, and Washington is estimated at 2.44 million cwt (100 pound units) or 110,768 metric tons (MT) for 2003, up 7% from the November 1 forecast but 3% below 2002.
