Net Decline in Mint Oil OutputWASHINGTON - Jan 12/04 - SNS -- The United States recorded a net decrease in mint oil output in 2003, with gains in peppermint more than offset by lower spearmint production, according to the USDA's final crop production report for the 2003 growing season. Production of peppermint oil in 2003 is estimated at 6.92 million pounds, up 2% from last year.
