Cotton Ginnings Ahead of Previous Year
WASHINGTON - Jan 12/04 - SNS -- Cotton ginnings are running well ahead of the 2002-03 season in the United States, according to the latest data available from the USDA.
As of December 31, they stand at 16,914,350 bales, a solid improvement over the 15,654,000 bales by the same time the previous year; but still off the 2001 totals.
