Field Peas Open 2004 on Mixed News
VANCOUVER - Jan 9/04 - STAT -- Field pea markets in the United States opened the 2004 calendar year with mixed news.
The week saw the USDA not buy the full quantity of yellow peas requested under terms of PL-480 food aid tender invitation 014. However, the amount not bought was quickly requested as part of invitation 014B.
