Laird Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada

VANCOUVER - Aug 2/13 - STAT -- Canadian Laird Lentil markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices falling 18% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.

The average trading level for Laird Lentil was USD$31.35 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $38.39 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.

Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $34.13 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $28.44 per cwt in February.
