Red Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 2/13 - STAT -- Canadian Red Lentil markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices easing 2% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Red Lentil was USD$29.52 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $30.12 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $34.00 per cwt in June, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $26.75 per cwt in November.
