No 2 Eston Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/13 - STAT -- Canadian No 2 Eston Lentil markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 15% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 2 Eston Lentil was CDN$21.61 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $25.47 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $22.69 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $20.75 per cwt in July.
