No 3 Richlea Lentil Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/13 - STAT -- Canadian No 3 Richlea Lentil markets finished the 2012-13 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 6% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for No 3 Richlea Lentil was CDN$14.38 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $15.38 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $16.00 per cwt in April, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $12.00 per cwt in October.
