Uncertain Tone in Lentils
VANCOUVER - Jul 27/13 - SNS -- International lentil markets maintained their uncertain tone under seasonally quiet trading conditions.
The pending availability of new crop product from the United States combined with the coninued availability of distress merchandise kept pressure on spot markets.
Harvest activity was reported in all major production areas in the United States during the past week. The week started with 1% iof the North Dakota crop in the bin and 10% of Montanas lentils harvested.
